The American Red Cross Volunteer Lifesaving Corps (http://redcrosslifeguard.org/)
was founded in 1912 by concerned citizens outraged at the incidence of
drowning along Northeast Florida's Shores. The proud tradition of
oceanfront life guarding continues today and we would not be able to do
our job without the Storm Whistle. It is standard issue to all recruits
who graduate our extensive training program and no other whistles are
allowed on our towers. Whether fighting against a 30 knot winds in a
nor'easter or signaling for backup from the water, the Storm is always
there and always reliable.

I am now a professional
Emergency Manager, and first came across your whistles 8
years ago. They were recommended to me by a senior USCG
officer I met, when I was a reservist commanding a Sea
Cadet Unit that went aboard one of their vessels on courtesy
visit to the Port of London. I carry one in my EMT kit and
my industrial fire marshals have them also. An excellent
product and a real life-saver.

I've seen this awesome product in action from someone overboard in big
seas offshore. Although it was a clear day he was hard to see in only a
few minutes, he could see we weren't looking in the right location. Heard
the whistle perfectly and got back to him almost immediately!!!
